More Italy

During our stay in Italy we travelled to Cesenatico, a small and pittoresque port town on the Adriatic coast. Cesenatico’s port canal was surveyed and drawn by the great Leonardo da Vinci, as part of his plans to fortify the nearby town of Cesena.

Back in Ravenna we visited the Soundscreen Film Festival again and saw The Swallows of Kabul yesterday, a French film directed by Zabou Breitman and Eléa Gobé Mévellec. This film was also screened at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival and an adaption of the novel of the same name by Yasmina Khadra.
